Hummus has been one of my favorite spreads since I visited Israel. I love that it is so easy to make and super versatile. You can put it in a wrap, a sandwich, or use it as a dip. But have you ever had it in a charcuterie form? This middle-eastern inspired hummus charcuterie board will be your next go-to recipe for your potluck and a crowd favorite.

  • If you are not a fan of spice, you can omit the chili oil.
  • If you want your nan to be extra crispy and soft, you can air fry it

INGREDIENTS:

Middle Eastern Salad

  • 1 large tomato, diced
  • 1 handful of fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 red onion, diced
  • squeeze of lemon
  • 1 tbsp olive oil, to drizzle
  • a pinch of sumach, to sprinkle
  • salt to taste

Ingredients
Middle Eastern Salad
  • 1 large tomato, diced
  • 1 handful of fresh parsley, chopped
  • ¼ red onion, diced
  • squeeze of lemon
  • 1 tbspolive oil
  • pinch of sumac
  • salt to taste
Hummus & Toppings
Dipping items
  • pita/naan cut into triangles
  • crackers or chips
  • middle eastern bread
  • Cucumber slices
  • Red pepper slices
Instructions
  1. Make the middle eastern salad by tossing everything together in a medium-sized bowl and set aside.
  2. Layer the hummus in swirls on a serving board.
  3. Liberally sprinkle the hummus with zatar.
  4. Layer the cooked protein of choice, middle eastern salad, roasted garlic, olives and radish onto the hummus, so that everything is evenly spread out.
  5. Drizzle with some spicy oil, or harissa, and olive oil.
  6. Serve with red pepper slices, cucumber, warm pita, crackers, and anything else you love!
