The Edgy Veg

Being a Tiktoker myself, I had to try this TikTok Ramen Hack for my vegan community. This instant ramen hack is insanely easy and super tasty using just a few simple ingredients. All you need is one pan to re-create this unique recipe. Let’s veganize this Viral Ramen experience.

Viral TikTok Ramen Recipe

Recipes on TikTok that go viral have absolutely changed the way we see food. Every content creator pour their hearts and souls into creating these unique recipes we may or may not be familiar with. With just 60-second, original recipes become so accessible to millions of people and recreated in thousands of different ways. This platform has changed many lives and I am so grateful to be a part of this community. Speaking of creatives, check-out some of my own creative recipes on TikTok @theedgyveg.

Recently, I was inspired by a TikTok trend that uses only 4 ingredients and people were loving it. It is made with just butter, scallions, Everything but Bagel Seasoning and red pepper flakes. When I saw the reactions to this video, I had to recreate my own vegan version of this.

Are there other ways to make it?

You can add in some vegan egg alternative with chili oil, or even Kewpie Mayo to add more texture and flavor to it. This instant ramen recipe is so basic that you can customize any ingredients that suits your taste palette.

Vegan Ramen

Afer making this recipe, you will never want to use ramen with just the flavour packets and sriracha ever again. This recipe only takes less than 10 minutes, for a quick meal and best to eat for those busy days.

First, you want to cook the noodles in boiling water until al dente. Next, make the sauce by adding all the ingredients into a small pan, mix with spoon until everything is nicely blended. Then add the noodles with some noodle stock (water with noodles). Finally, mixed together until texture becomes creamy, then plate with scallions and enjoy!

How many servings does this make?

This recipe serves for one but you can make more servings by adding extra noodle packets and doubling the sauce ingredients!

Can I make it ahead of time?

No, you’ll want to enjoy this right away for the best texture and flavour. Otherwise the noodles will expand and not be chewy.
