KFC Seasoning Spices
KFC is “finger lickin’ good” for a reason. This “secret” spice mix has been exposed to the world and I’m sharing it with you. I use this on my vegan KFC popcorn chicken, as a seasoning for french fries, and even mixed into mayo for an amazing dipping sauce.
To make this, just gather your ingredients, add to a jar with a lid and shake to combine, or whisk together in a bowl.

INGREDIENTS FOR KFC SEASONING SPICES (VEGAN):
- Dried Thyme
- Dried Basil
- Dried Oregano
- Celery Salt
- Black Pepper
- Mustard Powder
- Paprika
- Garlic Powder
- Ground Ginger
- White Pepper
- MSG (optional) or sea salt
KITCHEN EQUIPMENT I USED:
- Measuring Utensils
- Mixing Bowl and Whisk or Jar
- 2 tsp dried thyme
- 2 tsp dried basil
- 1 tspdried oregano
- 1 tbsp celery salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp dry mustard powder
- 4 tbsp paprika
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp ground ginger
- 2 tbsp white pepper
- 2 tsp MSG (optional) you can also sub for 1 tsp sea salt
- Whisk all ingredients together or add to a jar and shake. Use to season vegan chicken substitutes, french fries, veggies or add to mayo for a spiced sauce.
