Vegan Bacon Bits Recipe
This vegan bacon bits recipe uses 6-ingredients to make quick & homemade bacon bits that are vegan. They are savory, smokey and I’ll even say they’re better than the store-bought vegan bacon bits.
In under 5 minutes, you can have crispy and flavor-packed “bacon” bits. Just marinade the sun-dried tomatoes and quickly fry them in a pan!

I’m going to show you how to turn sun-dried tomatoes into vegan bacon bits! Credit goes to Sam from It Doesn’t Taste Like Chicken for inspiring me to use sun-dried tomatoes to make vegan bacon bits! I experimented with sun-dried tomatoes and added seasoning that made the vegan bacon bits more smokey for my vegan carbonara pasta recipe.
We are lucky enough that most store-bought bacon bits are accidentally vegan, but they are full of preservatives and chemicals. These homemade vegan bacon bits are the perfect crunchy and smokey addition to any recipe like pasta dishes, baked potatoes, and salads.
