Vegan Brussels Sprouts Recipe (Oven Roasted + Unique Dinner Recipe)

Vegan Brussels SproutsIf you’re looking for a vegan brussels sprouts recipe that’s a unique dinner dish with roasted, garlic brussels sprouts, vegan sausage, bacon or vegan meat of choice, you’ve found the most delicious Brussel sprouts recipe on the internet!

The reason why I added vegan meat to this recipe is because:

1) the juices from beyond meat sausages are absorbed by the brussels sprouts making them taste so delicious

2) I hate plain Brussel sprouts and

3) 15 of my non-vegan friends feasted on these bad boys faster than I’ve ever seen non-vegans eat. Almost all of them scooped a little bit and said “oh I guess I’ll try these” and then came back for seconds and thirds with giant scoops. This recipe is loved by vegans but also non-vegans!

The key to making delicious vegan brussels sprouts is to use lots of garlic, vegan sausage, vegan bacon (or other vegan meat), and oven roast them until they’re crispy. This “bacon” brussels sprouts recipe is also perfect for anyone who doesn’t like brussels sprouts because these bad boys are SO FREAKING delicious!

Get ready for one of the most delicious brussels sprouts you’ve ever tasted! I made this dish for Canadian Thanksgiving and my friends (including carnivores!) LOVED IT! In fact, many of my friends thought it was real meat in the brussels sprouts and had no idea it was my vegan dish that I brought!

INGREDIENTS FOR VEGAN BRUSSELS SPROUTS

Note: If you don’t have access to beyond met sausage or vegan bacon, you could probably use any vegan meat you have access too. The best combination is specifically the beyond meat sausage and vegan bacon strips cooked together.

  3. Start by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheating your oven to 400F.
  4. Meanwhile, in a large mixing bowl whisk together olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and vegan bacon. Set aside.
  5. Slice the dried sprouts in half and add to the large mixing bowl with olive oil mixture, and toss to coat completely.
  6. Transfer the sprouts to a baking sheet and roast for 15 mins.
  7. Flip them and sprinkle with beyond meat sausage. Roast for another 10-15 mins, or until the edges are lightly charred and crispy.
  8. Keep your eye on the sprouts while baking, as they can go from done to BURNT very quickly.
  9. Taste them and season again if necessary. Serve and watch people be shocked how good they are.

Oh, wow. We haven’t even sat down for Christmas dinner yet, but I have just tasted these sprouts. I think you must have altered them at the molecular level as they do not resemble the sprouts I had as a child.
    Win win win. 20 stars.
    Merry Christmas

With Canadian thanksgiving around the corner, I’m back again to make this recipe. It was a hit with my non-vegan family and obviously a hit with this vegan. The juices form the beyond meat made the Brussel sprouts taste SO GOOD and I normally hate Brussel sprouts. I was hoping to sub beyond meat sausage for beyond meat ground beef – should I cook the beef same time as sausage in your recipe? I won’t be using vegan bacon since it’s all sold out.

  • All the stars!! I’ll admit I haven’t made Brussel sprouts much but these are a new favorite that will be added to my weekly rotation.

Minus the Beyond Sausages because who has the money to buy them weekly?😜

  • These were definitely a HIT and – as I mentioned above – you should include your FAKIN BAKON/BAKIN or whatever you want to call it. The taste is amazing.

When I make my FAKIN BAKON – I marinate – the whole rice paper round – then bake and cut. Just like crispy bacon – really – try it – you will be impressed.

Also – because I am plant based with no added oil – I will try – balsamic vinegar in lieu of evo next time.

Thanks so much for your assume inspirational recipe and so healthy.

  • Add you rice paper – what I call FAKIN BAKIN recipe to this.

I am definitely trying this tonight.

  • So I was one of the friends at this thanksgiving dinner and was literally shocked when I found out these were vegan. Everyone was grabbing second helpings of the brussel sprouts because they were so good. I’m definitely making them for Christmas! Just need to find a good vegan bacon

  • I’ve never thought of using faux meats in brussels sprouts before! These look so good. Definitely going to try for thanksgiving! Thanks!
