Fresh, acidic, with the right level of sweetness, the japeleno and avocado really balance each other and the strawberry and mango add a summer colour, making this the perfect light afternoon snack. With all of the ingredients cut the same size, each bite is a perfect bite.
INGREDIENTS FOR STRAWBERRY MANGO SALSA (VEGAN):
- 2 cups strawberries, chopped
- 1 mango, diced
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 jalapeno, de-seeded and chopped
- 1/4 red onion, finely diced
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 lime, juiced
- Salt to taste
- Tortilla chips, to serve
INSTRUCTIONS FOR STRAWBERRY MANGO SALSA RECIPE
With no cook time, this recipe is made just as fast as your knife skills will allow. Finely chop all ingredients and add to a bowl. Add lime juice and gently stir to combine. Add salt to taste and serve with tortilla chips.
Note: This dish can easily be made ahead and stored in the fridge, but if not serving immediately, add the avocado just before serving.

Recipe for Spicy Strawberry Mango Salsa
- 2 cups strawberries, chopped
- 1 mango, diced
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 jalapeno, de-seeded and chopped
- ¼red onion, finely diced
- ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
- ½lime, juiced
- Salt to taste
- Tortilla chips, to serve
- Add strawberries, mango, jalapeno and red onion to a medium mixing bowl to a bowl.
- Add lime juice and cilantro and stir gently to combine.
- Add salt to taste and top with avocado before serving.
- Eat with tortilla chips as a salsa to toss with greens to create a summer salad.
