Chocolate is just one of those things. One of those ” I will always be there for you”- type things. It makes you feel good when you eat it. Boosting your energy levels and releasing the happiness hormones in your head; it might be the perfect food. Chocolate has a variety of natural mental health benefits. It releases a bliss/happiness chemical in your brain that provides you with a feeling of elation very similar to how you feel when you are falling in love. So with that, I feel that any feelings of depression or loneliness can be cured by eating chocolate. Ta Da!
- ¾ Cup coconut syrup
- ¾ Cup raw cacao powder
- 2 tsp vanilla
- ¾ Cup coconut oil, liquefied
- Blend all ingredients in a high powered blender until well combined.
- For Raw Chocolate bars, spread it on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet and place in the freezer until hardened. Add dried fruit or nuts for some added excitement!
