Vegan Chai Latte

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 1- inch ginger freshly grated
  • 1/2 tsp chai masala spice prepared
  • 1 cup barista oat blend
  • 1 1/2 tbsp black tea leaves
  • 2-3 tbsp maple syrup agave syrup or sugar

Instructions
 

  • In a small to medium-sized pot over medium heat, bring water to a simmer.
  • When the water is simmering, add the spices and ginger.
  • Bring the water to a boil, and add the tea leaves.
  • Reduce the heat to medium and boil for 1 minute.
  • Stir in oat milk and sweetener of choice and bring to a boil again, then immediately remove from heat.
  • Cover and allow to sit for 1-3 minutes.
  • Strain the chai into cups and add more oat milk and/or sweetener to taste.
