- 2 cups water
- 1- inch ginger freshly grated
- 1/2 tsp chai masala spice prepared
- 1 cup barista oat blend
- 1 1/2 tbsp black tea leaves
- 2-3 tbsp maple syrup agave syrup or sugar
In a small to medium-sized pot over medium heat, bring water to a simmer.
When the water is simmering, add the spices and ginger.
Bring the water to a boil, and add the tea leaves.
Reduce the heat to medium and boil for 1 minute.
Stir in oat milk and sweetener of choice and bring to a boil again, then immediately remove from heat.
Cover and allow to sit for 1-3 minutes.
Strain the chai into cups and add more oat milk and/or sweetener to taste.
