Crispy breaded tofu is super easy to make & will show you tips on how to get the crispiest tofu ever by using water to fry your tofu!

Ingredients
1 package firm tofu, pressed, cut into cubes & marinated in broth or marinade of choice) for at least 15 mins
juice of ½ lime
½ paprika
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp onion powder
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
pinch of salt
Instructions
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large heavy-bottomed pot over medium-high heat to 375F.
Add cubed tofu (pressed if you want) to a bowl and season with; lime juice, paprika, salt, onion & garlic powder.
In a small bowl whisk together; cornmeal, flour, and salt.
Fill a tall glass with cold water.
Using a toothpick, one at a time, coat each cube in the cornmeal mixture, then dip into the water. When the water stops dripping, place the cub into the hot oil and fry for a couple of minutes on each side to get the most crispy breaded tofu you'll ever have!
