This recipe is so easy to make and adds a bright flavour to any dish. All you need to do is boil water, mix in the sugar, salt and vinegar, then stuff a jar with thinly sliced red onions. Pour the liquid over the onions, let cool and add a lid then keep in the fridge for a minimum of 8 hours before enjoying on anything you'd like!

  1. Boil water, vinegar, salt, sugar together to dissolve, pack onions into a jar, pour over the liquid to cover.
  2. Let cool, top with lid and keep in the fridge until ready to use.
