I'm going to show you how to make a vegan Cubano sandwich in under 10 mins! Using simple vegan sandwich ingredients, this Cuban-inspired sandwich tastes just like the classic version.

  1. Preheat a sandwich press or a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook sausages until heated through and slightly charred, turning. Set aside.
  3. Add veggie ham to the pan and cook until lightly charred, turning once. Set aside.
  4. Meanwhile, spread both halves of your buns or bread with mustard. Layer with swiss cheese, sausage, ham and pickles.
  5. Close sandwiches and spread butter all over the outside of the buns. Cook on your sandwich press or skillet, for about 5 minutes, or until outside of the bun is golden brown, and cheese is melted, flipping once.
  6. Slice and serve with chips.
