Instructions
  1. Press tofu for at least 15 mins.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, Worcestershire, vinegar, ketchup, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, poultry seasoning, mustard powder, and pepper.
  3. Slice the Tofu into thick strips, and place into the marinade for a min of 15 mins.
  4. Drain off the marinade and pour into a small saucepan. Add brown sugar, and over medium-low heat gently cook for about 10 mins stirring occasionally.
  5. Meanwhile, make 2 “racks” of vegan ribs. Use two skewers per rack to attach the tofu, leaving space between.
  6. Using a fine-mesh sieve or flour sifter, sprinkle both sides of the racks with corn starch.
  7. Line the fryer basket with a mat or a sheet of lightly greased aluminum foil or parchment.
  8. Add the racks of vegan ribs to your air fryer basket, set the air fryer to 375F for 5 mins.
  9. Brush both sides of the vegan ribs with the cooked bbq sauce, set your air fryer to 375F and cook for 8 mins.
  10. After 8 mins, flip the vegan BBQ ribs and brush with additional bbq sauce. Cook for another 5 mins, or until slightly charred.
  11. Remove from the air fryer and brush with additional bbq sauce if you like more BBQ on your vegan ribs.
