This summer I have been teaching a series of Raw Food cooking classes in the beautiful Belmonte Raw kitchen! I has been sooooo fun so far! The first class was a Juicing and smoothies class, a great class for those new to the whole scene. The class I taught last night was an Introduction to Raw food.
I noticed a theme when I came up with the recipes for this class. There was very much an Asian theme with each recipe. The course is build around a day in the raw– beginning with breakfast and ending with dessert! We started with a Thai Slaw rich in minerals with mixed cabbage, peppers, mint and a lovely thai dressing. The main course was a Thai noodle bowl with peanut dressing and goji berries. For dessert, we made raw brownies with chocolate fudge, which was a huge hit! I have a few repeat students this round, and I love that! I feel like I am really getting to know the attendees personally, and not just professionally! People tend to open up to me– which i like.
Have you ever taken a class with me before? If you haven’t there is still room in next weeks class! It will be held on Thursday August 8th at 6:30pm at 1022 Queen street east! The cost is $80 person for $75 for two people! All you have to do is email [email protected] There will be tons of this:
