This avocado toast recipe involves the flavors of Lebanon, Greece, and the Mediterranean. Smear a big dollop of hummos on your toast and top with za'atar, my favourite herb blend.

Ingredients
1 slice bread (try crusty artisan breads like rye, multigrain, or sourdough)
⅓ to ½ ripe Avocado, peeled, seeded and sliced
¼ cup hummus
Za’atar, to taste
Optional:
Fresh cracked pepper, to taste
Sea salt to taste, to taste
Instructions
Toast your bread on both sides.
Spread toast with a large dollop of Hummus.
Layer on avocado slices.
Top with a generous amount of fragrant za’atar.
Sprinkle with salt and cracked pepper, to taste
Enjoy on it's own or serve with a side salad or soup.
